This shoot was so much fun to do! Adelle & Franco were a delight to work with. They were specific about the kind of photographs they wanted and were full and fantastic ideas. They wanted pictures that were more than your ordinary pose-and-smile snap shots - they wanted photographs that truly reflected their down-to-earth personalities, their love of nature and their love for one another.

 

We met on the private grounds of a local company that had stunning gardens, open fields and a beautiful old wooden shed. To help them feel relaxed in front of the camera I gave them a box of soft pastels and asked them to draw anything that came to mind on the slanted walls of the shed. They quickly let go of any nerves and enjoyed the activity and being in each other's company. After that we took some amazing intimate portraits and moved on to the Tuks sports grounds for some great shots of them between the trees on the edge of the big pond. 

 

We all had so much fun during this shoot that time flew by. The resulting photographs were beyond what they expected... After she had seen the pictures, Adelle said she has never looked so beautiful on photographs before. Thank you, guys, for such a great shoot! I can hardly wait to photograph their wedding later this year!
